About:
STRANGE WOMAN: the queer, Scottish hard rocker who electrifies crowds with a contemporary punk attitude and ferocious energy. Born in Edinburgh and living in Manchester, she grew up as an outsider who found community in alternative music scenes. From Yungblud and Måneskin to Lady Gaga, Strange takes inspiration from underground rock communities, drag, and the gender diverse.
STRANGE showcases sexy, snarling riffs and well as a signature rock scream that adds to the rawness of performances. Lyrics centre around love, gender expression, and the politics of queerness. Paired with alternative fashion, grunge makeup and an exhilarating stage presence, she creates a chaotic yet welcoming environment to all. She aims to always present a safe space for LGBTQ+ audiences.
In October 2025 she released her debut EP, ‘STRANGE’ - a sassy yet bold statement of love, rage and identity. With numerous radio plays from the likes of BBC’s Honor Morrison and Vibe 107.6’s Chris Lane, her accompanying headline launch show at 33 Oldham Street sold out due to incredible demand. Strange’s focus is now on gigging further afield to new audiences, social media growth and recording break-neck new material with her band.
